Halo enters the Activities of an inter-galactic battle between the lone surviving members of what is left of the human race and a collection of alien species called The Covenant. The Spartans are very disciplined warriors. Although they are each less trained than the Master Chief, a highly trained army of Spartans which are hard figures to over come. When Spawn came out in 1997 fans were a little scared to actually see Spawn has a real life character. Not only is his character scary enough in the comic books, but in real life this super hero was a bit ugly. The total Box office money world wide was around 87 Million. Todd Mcfarlane was co producer on this film.

There was talks about having a 2nd Spawn movie but this never developed. The Mcfarlane Toys that were sold with the spawn movies were in high demand because this comic book character was very popular.

Mcfarlane Toys-Twisted Land Of Oz

In 2003 Mcfarlane came out with a spin of the Wizard of Oz with his own remake called the Twisted Land of Oz. Even though the characters were the same as the original they each had a 21 first century twist to each of them. Many people did not like this remake saying it brought shame to the original version.

The Mcfarlane Toys that came out with the remake had a warning on each Mcfarlane Toy saying it was not suitable for children under the age of 17. Many major Toy Stores would not carry these figures because they thought it was not good for children.

When Halo 3 was released in September 2007 its first 24 hours the video game grossed more then 170 million in the United States alone. The release out did the openings of Harry Potter and the release of Spiderman 3. When talking about popularity this is a huge event.

The biggest thing was that Microsoft gave Mcfarlane the rights to make Mcfarlane Figures for these Halo 3 characters. This was huge. Even thought they probably were not the best selling of all time. You know that if the release of the video game was that huge the Mcfarlane Figures he was given the right to make were very high sellers.
